EFT is a form of SELF APPLIED psychological Acupuncture, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional Chinese acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over five thousand years, but without the invasiveness of needles. Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while you think about your specific problem - whether it is a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc. and additionally voice positive affirmations. *(taken from http://eft.mercola.com/)
Course outline: Each session we start from scratch, introducing the tool and how to methodically apply it. This will take around 30 minutes. Handouts about the specific tapping points and addressing “Psychological Reversal” (aka resistance to change) efficiently will be provided.
Then we will be conducting an actual session on a theme that is relevant for the whole group and/ or work 1:2:1, dividing the group up into a safe and more intimate setting.
Participants will be encouraged to think of this as "A Tool for Life" and keep using it in their daily life to address their emotional pain rather than any of their classic “escape roads”
